Bio

I’m co-owner of the MGImedia.ca., web consulting firm and production house (social media, usability, video production, web development), as well as co-founder of the popular commandN.tv weekly tech video podcast, and a speaker on Usability and Social Media. I’ve worked…

  • onsite in Canada, United States, Russia, Serbia, and Sri Lanka, and have done project work in various other countries (including Japan, Paraguay, Kenya, etc.).
  • on projects for the private, public, and NGO sectors (and was a Director of the Nova Scotia Music Industry Association).
  • in print, video, audio, and other media.
  • with clients such as Microsoft, Rogers, GoDaddy, Tony Robbins, Canada Goose, G4TechTV, Ontario Economic Summit, and many others.

I love what I do and I’m both proud and privileged to have done it with such great clients from around the world.

My creative background includes Vancouver Film School, performances at major jazz festivals, and video work such as my quarterly piece on the Sri Lanka tsunami, documenting trade missions to Russia and beyond, as well as commercial work, and I leverage this experience with a solid understanding of the business side of creative enterprises. My previous work for computer animation pioneer, Mainframe Entertainment, and the world’s largest videogame producer, Electronic Arts, has familiarized me with world class production environments and media creation.

I’ve lived in PEI, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, and Halifax, and travelled extensively.
